Default Help NSS7 C Band CNN

    Hi all,
I am having a problem with the CNN signal on NSS7.
For some days the signal is good, then other times I get a blank screen "no video" but audio is OK.
If I power off/on the receiver then most times all is corrected and CNN works for the next day or so, then I have to repeat the process.
My location is South Africa, dish is 2,4 M mesh dish, about 30 M from receiver.
If I include an inline amplifier close to the LNB at the dish, then I receive NOTHING.
    Any help/advice will be appreciated.
    Thanks.

the problem could be on your receiver, like i get the same with Dreambox, but not with arisat.
this is not a solution but try a second receiver on the same.

    Default CNN on NSS7

    Hi Cogil,
    Thanks for your reply.
Tried another receiver, I think the sig level is low as I get constant break up of video with the other receiver, and eventually the receiver locks up and has to be switched off.
I am having a guess that with my 2,4 M dish I only just get enough signal from CNN, as the Arab and AFN ch's show a much higher sig level.
I used to get TV5 Asia and TV5 Europe, but no longer.
Bye the way I changed the LNB just to see if there was a difference.
The dish has a few dents from hail damage, maybe it's time for a new dish.

    Regards
