    Default Recommended Decoder for DishTV

For using DishTV ViewingCard which decoders are recommended? It has to be DishTV's original decoder or any doing the same purpose? Please name those which are available.
If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place.

with the official card you can use any decorder with card slot, and embeded with the kind of encryption to the beam you receive. say conax embeded, nagra embeded, ****** embeded. or from which satellite you receive dishtv will tell you the encryption.

Dish TV India STB is married to the card
Card cannot be used on another STB

There is a court case pending on this issue in India, don't know the outcome as yet
    FYI

YES THE STB AND THE CARD WORKING ON PAIRING KEYS.
YOU CANNOT USE DIFFERENT CARD IN A DIFFERENT DECODER.
THEY ARE HARDLY MARRIED AND NO POSSIBILITY OF DIVORSE FOR ANY HACKER.

Branded STB used by Dish TV are Zenega, Kaon & Humax

When I subscribed for 1 year they gave the STB free but of no use to watch other pay channels

I agree with you that the card n stb married together.
But one person from Punjab,Hindustan managed to use his expired card with any zenega stb, just by coping the stb backup files (he had copied the working copy of his stb) to new stbs In other words he is able to make more than 5 clones of zenega stbs.
