Default What the hell is sharing via Sat ?

    Hello Guys

I decided to write this thread to just explain what Twin-Tuners receivers do .....

Twin-Tuner receivers do sharing for the encrypted channels using the Satellites , as Dreambox do sharing using Internent and Gbox servers ...so on

The idea of sat sharing is doing a big server (the producer of the receiver do it) and add some packages ...

For example Worldbox-8 , Hi-Tech , Dream Maker , Future , Truman 1500 do sharing throught the same server which is working on Eutelsat W6 ...

What do the hell you need then ?

1- you need Twin-Tuner Receiver , lets say Worldbox-8 Black model
2- A dish should be fixed and directed to the Server (EutelsatW6)
3- The other dish you use to receive the signal
    4- 2 LNBFS
    5- Cabels and so on

You have to fix a dish directed to Eutelsat W6 first and use one of the LNBF and connect it to the second Tuner Input 2

The other dish for example is fixed on Hotbaird , ok connect it to LNBF 1 and Input 1 (first tuner)

Upgrade your receiver with the latest software for Tuner B to get sharing Signal , Then update the Tuner A ....

    Now , you can watch Cyfra+ , Nova , MCT , Sex View , using sharing ....

    That's the idea ....

    regards

    Default card sharing on sat!

    m8s,

the idea is great, the only hitch is how long will the supplier( receivers) share their orig subcards! twin tuners receivers don't comes cheap, & its not worth it if you've been cut off within a year!

Not all twin tuner boxes rely on cardsharing via satellite. The Relook 400S for example is just that. A twin tuner with which you can do cardsharing the 'normal' way (via internet) and watch/record two channels at the same time.
There's also the Angelbox which relies on cardsharing via satellite.
I have one of these and it's not much use to me now since Telkomvision is not part of the package anymore (just 3 channels).
The problem with these boxes is that you are completely dependant on the server via satellite. Once they stop working, your box is just about useless (only good for fta).
With a box like the Relook 400S, if your server stops working you just find another server and away you go. The box does not become obsolete.

    Regards weirdo
