    Default hotbird in Dubai


    Hello guys, what is the recommended dish size for hotbird in dubai 90 cm or 100 cm

    Both will work in Dubai.......But bigger size always better to keep steady Picture while variation in signal happens... If you can install 100/ 120 Cm dish would be great..

    thanks secretman, as you know im having a problem pointing to hotbird using this values with 90 cm dish

    Azimuth angle: 244.88°
    Elevation angle: 34.92°
    LNB tilt (Skew): 54.99°

    i always get a 40% signal and 0 quality, im still new at this hobby

    I am using 120 cm dish in dubai & the signal strength is appearing 62%

    what are the values of your azimuth, elevation and skew ?, this is my first setup and its giving me a headache

    get a bigger dish. that should solve your problems. yes, it is possible to get hotbird on a 90cm dish, but the signal stability is at risk.

    What was the instrument to be used to azimuth, Elevation and lnb tilt.

    spend 50 dhirham , they can fix

    Better to align your dish manually and set for hotbird... adjusting based on those values may not be ok always ...cause the level of the place you set the dish may not be suitable to those values.. so take one frequency and manually set the dish... use bigger size like 120cm will give you maximum output.
    Find the help of a technician or an experienced friend.
