    HI I have just bought aT-REX cam it came with two cards a white one similar to a sim vcard for MOBILE PHONE & a fun 7 card.
    Can ayone tell me how to set it up and what the cards are for.
    Do ihave to program it or is it pre-programed as when i put it in my reciever nothing cums up excet firecrypt.

    the sim card type is your 9-month subscription for xplus and inxtv from hotbird. the funcard 7 is used to load the dragonfiles (latest is predator 349) so that you can view the encrypted channels (or whatever is left of it anyway). for legal purposes, most CAMS are being shipped not pre-programmed. but you can get the files on most forums. you need a card writer (or CAS3 if you have the budget) to reprogram your T-rex.

    Can I use a cas2
    I have used cas 2 to prog a matrix cam is it the same or do you hafe to use the cable extension
