    Default problem with dishtv activation


    I just installed Dishtv yesterday on NSS6. After installation I am able to get ony the DD FTA channels but none of the pay channels I have subscribed for. When I open any pay channel it says, scrambled channel.

    I will be highly obliged if anyone could help me to overcome this problem. I have inserted the viewing card provided by dishtv. I am in Kuwait.

    Hi,
    Switch on some time then automatically you will receive channels

    Its been ON for about 8 hours now and still the same

    Keep on only 1 channel like ESPN or Star Sports i.e. paid channels and keep the box on till you get activated. Also please note it takes 2 working days after you purchase the box and pay the money to the dealer.

    Did you ask the dealer to activate the card immediately. Normally by the the time dealer payment reaches Dish TV centre it takes about 2 working days so keep it on for few minutes without changing channel and it should start working if the money has been received at Dish TV end it will start working.

    As a matter of fact I had purchased the package from a dealer in India on 6th August. So I assume the payment has already reacher dishtv. I received it here only yesterday through someone who came from India.

    IS QUITE RIGHT,IT TAKES TWO DAYS AFTER THE TIME OF PURCHASING.TWO WEEKS AGO I PURCHASED ONE BUT IT DIDNT ACTIVE EVEN IN 11 DAYS,SO I CHANGED MY DECODER FROM THE DEALER FOR AN ALREADY ACTIVE ONE.

    My viewing card says preactivated. I don't know what that means.

    Please ask for webaccess on Dish TV website i.e. www.dishtvindia.in and then send them a complaint/inquiry checking if your subscription is active. They will reply you soon with the details or resend you the activation code via satellite and ask you to keep the box on for some time on a paid channel maybe they sent you the activation and your box was not on at that time thats why you are having this problem.

    Registration for webaccess is very easy enter your details with VC ( Smart Card or Viewing card number) and set-top box serial number along with other details and they will reply same day with your username and password which you can change as you like.

    Dear give me ur vc card number i will be activated in next 12 hrs but u still on ur stb on any pay channel and don't touch any button in ur remote

    I tried to register on dishtv webaccess. When I enter my details such as the STB number and the viewing card number, I get the following message "SORRY YOUR ACCESS REQUEST APPLICATION HAS NOT BEEN ACCEPTED. STB NUMBER IS NOT PAIRED WITH VC".

    As a result I am unable to access my account status.

    Send an email to [email protected] include your VC number and STB No. and ask them to activate your webaccess and service both in your email. You should receive a reply in a day or so.

    I agree with what you say sometimes the system does not accept the STB No. so try sending a email to them.

    Ohh MY GOD IT'S MEAN R U USING INVAILD VC CARD IT IS NOT MATCH WITH UR STB.GO TO DEALER AND BRING MATCH VC CARD.IF U GIVE ME UR VC NUMBER THEN I WILL HELP U
