    Default Gbox faq/doc in ENGLISH

    Anyone have a Gbox FAQ/Doc in English. The only ones i've found are either in French or German and the config files are written in a dialect of english i can't fathom.

    What i need to know for example is if someone sends me their D line like

    D: { 11.22.33.44 { xxxx 6666 { DEAD1234 { A2 A2 }}}}

    and my M line password in cwshare.cfg is FEED1234 then what is my D line in my cwshare.cfg if I want to share my card on port 10000 with them. I'm confused what line to send him. Assume my ip address is 55.66.77.88, do i send them this line

    D: { 55.66.77.88 { 10000 6666 { FEED1234 { 1 1 }}}}
    or
    D: { 55.66.77.88 { 6666 10000 { FEED1234 { 1 1 }}}}

    And what do i put in my cwshare file from him. Is it

    D: { 11.22.33.44 { 10000 6666 { DEAD1234 { A2 A2 }}}}
    or
    D: { 11.22.33.44 { 6666 10000 { DEAD1234 { A2 A2 }}}}

    I'm confused with the port numbers ;-( Some people mention it is a port range and others say it is a RX and TX port.

    Also what is the last numbers 'A2 A2' in the line ? Is it how many cards i'm sharing ? How may hops ?

    PM me if you're too shy to post.

    Hi,

    to make your D line for your share partner:
    D: { your_dyndns_name_or_IP { xxxx your_port { password { card_dist net_dist }}}}

    this is your D line that you will send to you'r partners:

    D: { 55.66.77.88 { xxxx 10000 { FEED1234 { A5 A5 }}}}

    when you receive a line from him you will put you'r port 10000 where xxxx it is now. That is your RX port ( he will TX to this port to you).

    now few words about { A5 A5 }

    that is the share distance parameter, yes how many hop you want to send your local card & network
    First one is for local card, second for network.
    A is for SKY cards.

    regards
    L.

    for windows server:
    in root made dir:
    var\gbox

    with files:
    cygcrypt-0.dll
    cygioperm-0.dll
    cygpopt-0.dll
    cygwin1.dll
    msxml3.dll
    gboxt.exe
    gboxx86.exe
    ioperm.exe
    ioperm.sys

    var\keys

    with files:
    cwshare.cfg
    gbox_cfg
    softcam.cfg

    var\tmp

    you must have proper config...

    for XP/NT/2000 first run ioperm.exe -i
