Cablecom is expanding its channel line-up with the addition of 3+ from September on both its analogue and digital networks. The channel will be broadcast to 1.5 million households across Switzerland. 3+ is concentrating on the 15 to 49-age group with programmes including Superstar and Switzerland’s Next Supermodel. It was previously known as Elevator TV and is headed by former Viva Plus boss Dominik Kaiser. These will be interspersed with news and weather bulletins. The launch means a change in the line-up with CNBC Europe moving to digital only broadcasts from August 8. At the same time, Austrian pubcaster ORF will move down the order, taking the capacity previously held by CNBC.
