Mr. teacher, with due respect, I believe you need to upgrade your information, because there are software available to unlock SS2 card. I believe like mobile phones they are fiexed to receive info. from some particular satellites (as mobile phones are fixed to their mobile companies) .

But I need to be sure.

the locked pc dvb-s devices are usually provided by ISPs to their clients. they lock the software so that you can only receive data streams and when you tune in to other freqs on the same satellite, the signal bar turns red, or you cannot scan anything. there are drivers around the net for this issue, depending on the card you have.

the drawback obviously, is you cannot view satellite channels. and most of the time, you cannot buy these locked pc dvb devices off the shelves, they have to be supplied by the ISPs. off the shelf dvb devices, on the other hand can be used freely with internet data, provided you have the correct software and proper hardware on the lnb end from the provider to use the internet.

Again there is no such thing as a Locked Skystar2

There is software that will allow you to decrypt channels via EMU Key's
This has nothing to do with the Skystar2 at all - Skystar 2 is a DVB Card and there is Only 1 model .. no such thing as a locked skystar 2

There is 100s of software around the net which will allow you to view channels with skystar 2 also cardshare .......
Software and Hardware are 2 different things

    Skystar2 is a Skystar2 and nothing else
