Default Bought new box to open ird, via, vdgrd

I was at satellite store 2 days ago and I saw the new "AlliveMedia" receiver, the saleman told me it has official subscription from various providers encrypted in ******, Viaccess and Videoguard

The channels are TPS, ABsat, Nova, Sky Italy, StarTV Asia, Arabesque, ART, Showtime and The adult channels MCT

Subscription is up to 20 Months (begining from the purchase day) no cards needed at this period unless I want other channels as it support 2 slots for smartcards and 1 ci

Until now bouquets above are fully working 100%

BUT (there is always 'but' in everything), Anybuddy knows where can I find software and tools for this receiver? or better if anyone know the website address?

again it's name is AlliveMedia. I tried to google it without success

how come they release a product without even a homepage

--- Thanks for any help ---

****** engineer is right, some questions should be passed to the seller before buying.
we should be just told of how good it is and doing all it should, unless it is a gift, always buy exactly what you want, or what you are shure to get support on.

Box color is silver. there is black in the store but i got the silver one, big front multiline colored VFD display (text line: red, yellow, green, blue, purple choosing from remote control with same black background) the display viewing channel name settings data etc...

As you can see, great features with very limited tools compared to known receivers like dreambox, reelbox and relook etc...

I still don't know from where can I get more tools?
I'm missing important tool like editor to backup my channels list, I tried to search for it on the CD but didn't find it

How to backup the channels list and groups?
Is there any standard editor that working with most receivers?

I forgot to mention: I got it for 519 pounds here in cyprus. about 1120 dollars

My friend told me by email yesterday he found it for 1099 USD in bulgaria

Please help me finding suitable editor to backup my channel list or you can send it to me by email

--- Thanks for any help ---

i take it's one of those IP based box like vn8000s. until when the subscription lasts, nobody knows. go back to the dealer and at least ask him about manufacturer details or website. from there, you should be able to get your answers. anybody can print 20 YEARS subscription on a piece of paper and sell it like treasury bills.
