change to bigger dish too if possible. dreamtv is dying maybe, with all sorts of litigation it receives for broadcasting local philippine channels on satellite without prior consent (case in point: ABS-CBN, and lately GMA7 has ordered a cease and desist order for PMSI to stop broadcasting it's channel too).

Default Signal OK now here also

It about 3:30pm now and the signal corrected to the previous levels from 3:00pm here in NE India. I initially thought it was weather related but if people in Manila are having problems then I have no reason to complain. I hope DREAM gets it act together soon

Well 6:00 pm Guangzhou time, I changed to a Universal KU band LNB and it is stable at the moment, it seems to be slightly better than my old one.

Unfortunatel boknoy I can't change to a bigger dish, the last time i did that i had the police show on my appartment and i had to take it off, so im forced to use the little one ( 60 cm crapy dish )

    Default What to do?

Anyone else having a better signal with a replaced LNB? Right now it is working here but the weather has cleared up a bit! So should I change the LNB and try which would indicate that I have a local problem or should i leave it as it is and assume that the problem is universal with dream? BTW i have a 4ft dish and I am getting the best signal among other dream viewers in my town.

It seems to be a DREAMTV problem and not weather dish or LNB related. so replace it if you you feel that another LNB would do a better job. Mine actualy does not improve much really, from the old one i had. It is only slightly better and that maybe because of the weather wich is better now.

So if you have a better LNB than replace it, but do't expect any huge difference in signal.
