On 23 May 2006, France telecom Spain is launching its IPTV offer in three regions including
Madrid. Wanadoo TV Spain is thus offering its subscribers around 40 free channels, some of which are regionalized, as well as VOD, Triple play, premium contents with more than 20 pay channels, 300 hours of VoD content, and the possibility of subscribing to sVoD.
Viaccess has supplied a personalized rights management offer to the subscribers, as well as reinforced security due to the latest-generation Viaccess smart card, the BudaCard.
Viaccess is also enhancing its service with the deployment of a Subscriber Management System, STEV (Start Easily With Viaccess), necessary for commercial launches in which Time To Market is critical.
