    Who can tel me if the dreambox 8000 or the Humax HDCI-2000 is recommandable

    both have impressive features, but DB has even more and most of all its fexlibilty due to Linux open plateform.

    so DB for sure if you can afford it.

    1.dreambox 8000 can burn dvd or only play.

    2.Is humax 2000 support sd and hd both or only for hd

    DVD writer is an optional, you can put it and can burn dvd's

    Is Dreambox 8000 capable of receiving HD transmissions in all formats i.e. DVB-S, DVB-S2, MPEG-2/MPEG-4/H.264 like Humax 2000.

    Yes, it even supports WM9 (windows media 9) formar, even DivX/XviD also which are compliant to MPEG-4. what you need more ?
