    Default Software for Notebook

    Hello Everyone.

I'm new here and i tried to search the board for theses questions but the search engine isn't working for me...

    Here's my two questions:

First, where could i find a software for uploading my Matrix Revolution with my notebook on port PCMCIA?

Second, I found, on this great site, a file with this description "5-1-2006 MRB for MRV with TPS AU ! " in the download section of the main site. Is this working for my Matrix Revolution? With a TPS auto-update? Or is it out of date?

Thank you very much, long life to this board... :P

    Hello twosteps,

Matrix Revolution dosent work with pcmcia from the laptop, only Matrix Realoded.Only Cas and Funcards can put you a new firmware in Mrv.
And also TPS is not auto update anymore, they use Aes key.

    Regards

    Hello Matei.

Thanks for the answer. I'm a newbie in this stuff...

Ok, a friend of mine have a CAS, i will try with him.

Just another question: I've got a funcard 6 and i don't understand exactly what this card is doing? My Matrix Rev has key in it, no? Why do i need this card?

    Thanks.

Im also a newbie twosteps but with time you start to understand how it works. There are nice people on this forum that knows a lot and share with everybody.
About the fun card you can use it also to put the firmware but its much more easy with CAS.Once you put the firm you dont need the card.
A lot of forums have a newbie section from where you can learn a lot.

    Regards
