Denmark will soon have its first local 24-hour news channel, with TV 2 Danmark set to launch the TV 2 News Channel on December 1.
The channel joins the international networks BBC World, CNN International and Al Jazeera in the Danish market. “There is a revolution on its way to the Danish media market and in news communication,” said MD Per Mikael Jensen. “The News Channel signals that TV 2 is leading the way. I am very proud and pleased to have had this opportunity to introduce Denmark’s first news channel.”
The channel expects to have about 85 staffers, with recruiting slated to begin before the summer. TV 2 News will be headed up by TV 2 Danmark’s news manager, Michael Dyrby.

POOR COUNTRIES LIKE NEPAL AND BANGLADESH AND EVEN CUBA SENDS ITS PROGRAMS TO THE WORLD BY SATELLITE.
FOR A FEW MILLION DOLLARS IT COULD PURCHASE ONE SAT CHANNEL OVER ASIA, ONE OVER THE AMERICAS AND ONE OVER EUROPE THEREBY REACHING 80- PERCENT OF THE WORLS POPULATION WITH THE KUDOS THAT GOES WITH IT . WORRIED ABOUT THE COST ? SHARE THE CHANNEL WITH SWEDEN , NORWAY AND ICELAND AND IT WILL COST BUT PENNIES !
