    Default Humax 5400 Without cam


    Drea Friends,
    I plan to buy a new Humax 5400 Rechiever. But, I don't want to use any cam. If I update this rechiever without any cam, all patch will be work or not? I mean can I watch all hacked channel with letest update?

    Pls...Who know better about this, reaply me.

    without using a CAM is possible, you can update the pathced firmware to the hummy but you need at least one dummy iredto card allways to be inserted in the built-in cam.

    Yes, Gold card is OK, you have to write it with an old ****** file. Fun card is also good, just write a 6in1 file.

    i think dummy is dummy u dont need to write anything on it .. im using an expired delta card in my humax and its working alrite....i did not write anything on it... although to write files on ur fun card u need a mastreo programer its an old device many satellite shops must have this...check ur local markets...

    Kroky doesn't want to talk in FREE
    Humax 5400 STB may write (program) the cards by itself
    Fte Max 100S
    Humax IRCI-5400z
    Asiasat 3S,NSS 6,Insat 4B,Thaicom2/5,Intelsat7/10,HB 6/7A/8

    No, the card has to be loaded with any file accepted by the Humy: ****** or betacrypt original cards (even expired), any card for Premiere (original or zebra) or fun cards with 6in1 file on it, or GW with ****** file on it. I repeat, cards may be even expired, important is that when you insert it into your Humax, it displays: "smart card is accepted".
    You can write your fun or GW with any programmer (Infinity USB, CAS3, etc.) or Multiprog 1.80
