Default Strong 6355 dead - HELP ME

I am italian, excuse me for my english.
    I have a STR-6355.
I have read the instruction for patching.

    1. connect the PC and the SRT6xxx using a null-modem serial cable OK

    2. unplug the receiver, press CH-DWN and keep it until you plug in again the receiver OK

    3. run BootLoader and perform CONNECT , this will replace the original boot OK LOADING SUCCESSFULL

When i turning on the receiver the diplay is off and the decoder is dead, only the led on is green.

Help me i have this only receiver.

    Thank You

    Default Hey !

Read carefully the instructions ! you must reiterate the procedure for :

    1. load the application ( .urt) into ApplicationLoader and connect ( upload )
    2. load the keys ( file - open) and the patch ( proceed-upload patch ) ...
    3. optionally you can load also a channel list using ChannelEditor ...

So you can see this patch system consists in 5 components ... loaded separately : the boot, the application, the patch. the keys table, the channel list !

    Default Si quella ....

On my opinion this is a "clasic" model .... only those made after 15 nov 2004 are in the named case ! maybe is a flash fault ! from this distance what can I see ?

I've talk with a Strong technician about your decoder ... the same opinion as mine ... a possible flash fault !

Default Is the only way !

The only ways to repair are :

    - replace the faulty flash with a new one
    - write the flash using an external flash programmer

    that's all !

    Default Semplice !

You must have a flash programmer and a special clip connector ! that is not for "amateurs" ! so forget it ! Anyway this is for a specialized Strong service !
