    Default BlindScanner for SkyStar2 Rev. 2.3

    O noua jucarie pentru cei pasionati de receptia DVB.In speranta ca nu o sa fie nimeni suparat ca nu am pus si explicatii in Romana:

    .:: SAT BlindScanner ::.

    ************************************************** **********
    This toy is working ONLY with SkyStar2 Revision 2.3
    (using MITEL tuner with TSA5059 frequency synthesizer
    and VP310 demodulator/channel decoder)
    ************************************************** **********

    History:
    04/01/2005 - First public version

    Scope:
    * Find some feeds
    * Generate transponders .ini for your favorite DVB App

    Performance:
    * Full ASTRA 19.2 scan was performed in 63 seconds
    (using profile "MCPC with SR 20-30 K.bsp" )

    Operation:
    1) Edit LOF settings & DiseqC
    3) Select a profile and press [Load]
    4) Adjust other settings,if needed (eg. Freq. range or polarity)
    5) Press [Start]
    6) Wait...
    7) Select current sat. and save discovered transponders

    Hints:
    * Do not mix low symbol rates (< 10000 Ks/s) with
    high symbol rates

    * Use freq. increment step lower then smallest SR selected

    * SR Detection is not perfect (maybe a hardware bug).
    Edit "SymRate.fix" to correct detected symbol rates

    * If detected frequency is constantly shifted (compared with a
    good .ini file ) adjust LOF HI/LO settings and scan again !
    (maybe your LNB oscillator is not stable with temperature)

    * If you are not using card for a long time press [Sleep] button
    to switch VP310 to Low-Power mode
    ( SleepMode-> 30¦C colder then in "normal" mode )

    Know bugs:
    * Sometime VITERBI decoder cannot get lock.FEC will be "NA"

    Tested on:
    P4 3GHz (with HT) & Athlon XP 2600+
    Windows XP Pro + SP1
    SkyNet.sys Versions: 4.2.08, 4.2.11 & 4.2.30
    ..and of course SkyStar2 Rev. 2.3

    ************************************************** **********

    Download:

    Happy Feed-Hunting !

    Altx, de ce nu reusesc sa scanez unul din satelitit (de ex Nilesat sau Turksat) care le-am scanat cu Blindscan ? Am introdus fisierul .ini generat de Blindscan in AltdvbSatFiles\Transponders dar cind incercsa scanez cu Altx efectiv nu vede noul satelit.
    Trebuie facute ceva schimbari la fisierul generat ?
    Felicitari pentru program!

    Ce drivere ai instalat? Daca nu reusesti sa prinzi nimic cu nici o aplicatie e posibil sa fie placa "blocata". NU presupune ca e blocata si NU incerca sa o deblochezi pana nu esti sigur 100% ca aceea e cauza! Risti sa ramai fara ea. Verifica intai ca restul componentelor instalatiei sunt corect montate/pozitionate si functioneaza.
    Pentru erori de calculator e bine sa dai si configuratia pe care ai testat. Revin-o cu detalii si se rezolva problema...

    Imi amintesc ca si mie mi-a facut la fel, dar dupa ce instalasem driverele de pe cd-ul "original" (4.2.2). Manifestarile au fost:
    - in progdvb aveam semnal (80%+) dar nu deschidea nici un canal
    - in DVB Viewer (app de vine pe cd) nu deschidea nici un canal si zicea ca sunt "locked"
    - la scanare din setup4pc dadea "PMT Table not found" (parca) pe orice frecventa (avea semnal, nu primea nimic)

    Schimbarea driverelor NU a rezolvat problema, dar mai intai verifica ce am scris mai sus.

    PS. Doar acum am vazut si intrebarea de le SS2 blocata
