Italian private broadcaster Mediaset has reached an agreement with the Inter and Livorno football clubs to air their home games in the Serie A league. The agreement with Inter is for the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 seasons and covers all distribution platforms, excluding UMTS, while the Livorno deal regards the 2007-2008, 2008-2009, and 2009-2010 seasons and concerns the digital terrestrial, cable, ADSL, DVB-H and Mobile TV rights. The financial details of the deals were not revealed. Meanwhile, Mediaset CEO Giuliano Adreani announced that advertising sales rose 2-3 per cent in the first three weeks of January from a year earlier. Full year advertising sales in 2005 were up 3%
