Dear dawar098 R for right hand circular polarity and L for left hand circular polariy.
Mostly russian Satellites use these RC and LC polarities. If you are receiving a frequency which is using RC or LC Polarity then there will be no great effect on signals by changing the Hor or Ver polarity from your receiver. You have to use a teflon piece in the hole of LNB to get RC and LC polarity. By using teflon you can get maximum signals from a R and L frequency. After putting the teflon piece in the LNB there will be effect on signals by changing the Ver/Hor polarity from your receiver.
If you are receiving a frequeny with less signals teflon piece will much improve the signals of that frequency because after putting it you will be able to get its correct polaritry.
