    Default Female DB-9 on back of a receiver


    can anyone tell me how to upload firmware on strong srt4155 evo and sr7800 thay have female DB-9 connector on the back side and normally null modem cable has 2 DB-9 female connectors. So i need some kind of adapter? i need to modify my cable? i realy don;t know how to connect female to female connectors is the pinout the same or there is some mixing with the wires?

    pins connent on 2-3, 3-2, 5-5, to change from femal to male just use a adapter if you can not get then modify the cable cut the female port and put an male port one the end where you need it
