I'm looking for the decryption of biss BBC package at 27.5 west.
I've an old original dm800, but wih new tuner bcm4505.
I was able to fix the correct channels reception, but it seems I've a problem yet with encrypted pmt
Can anyone help me?
I could find a solution to my problem yesterday thanks to an user of this section who contacted me in pvt and told me the exact procedure.
I had already fixed pid with dreamboxedit and lamedb as you told, but I couldn't fix encrypted pmt issue yet.
He sent me a script to check and fix pmt on each channel and the right emu to use (oscam_ymod).
Its system worked fine, but there was no chance to watch hd channels as ITV hd and cbbc hd.
He told me my dm800 (first serie) was too old and drivers not pubblic to be upgraded to Openpli 3.0 and so I have no audio on hd
The other channels as bbc 1, 2, 3, 4 are good
I think I found the original thread at openpli board.
My bbc_pmt* script instructs CAM (by means of CAPMT data) to descramble PMT PID first. After descrambled PMT is available on demux, it is received normally by E2. Then E2 instructs CAM in standard way (E2-generated CAPMT data) to descramble audio, video,.....
So far I've got 2 positive feedbacks on this approach on Dreambox receivers and one negative feedback on ET9000 receiver.
On ET9000, problem seems to be drivers. Despite CAM sets PMT pid and sends correct control words to CA device, descrambled PMT doesn't appear on demux.
Not sure about the sound issue - what type of codec is it using ?
That's the script I have to get the right pmt updated.
It's not a codec issue, but a driver one.
Unfortunately my box is too old and the driver not released as public by dream multimedia:
So it seems there is no chance to have audio on my dm800
Eventually, with a newer dreambox you need:
Openpli > 3.0 as firmware
Oscam_ymod + right biss keys
Reason I ask because sometimes could be a enigma2 glitch and by hard-coding the value to fix the ac3 and rebuild the image
you can have sound. Are they using he-aac ? If yes, then you need a new box or transcode the audio back to dm800 in ac3 format
