    Default oscam + patch NDS

    Hi,
this morning I found on streamb*ard a very interesting patch by pfanne (great thanks to him) for nds reader in oscam.

    changelog:
    - added fuse byte in log and in entitlements page
    - ins54 code optimization
    - added some info about cw error generation
    - now crypted cws (aka fake cw) are cutted off

I leave here an oscam9781+patch for a test. It works on ubuntu pc 32 bit smartreader smargo and omnikey.

    Here

if anyone'd like to test it even on sky italia..

I did it with my free card uk and it seems to be fine

It has to be tested on sky it, I've just tested it on a sky uk free card only.

    - ins54 code optimization
    - added some info about cw error generation

is the first time I look in the code because I do not understand much at first glance but I think I've added some info tag 0f 0X in the payload of 54 by specifying the types of errors based on tags ... do not delude ourselves that bypasses the problems pairing or another

thanks to pfanne for his work

    Code:
    +        int32_t test_0F = 1; +        if(!cw_is_valid(rbuff + 5))  //sky cards report 90 00 = ok but send cw = 00 when something goes wrong :(              { -                rdr_log(reader, "classD3 ins54: status 90 00 = ok but cw=00 -> channel not subscribed "); +                if ((buff_0F[0]>>1)&1){     //case 0f_0x 02 xx xx xx xx +                      rdr_log(reader, "classD3 ins54: no cw --> Card isn't active"); +                    test_0F = 0; +                } +                if (buff_0F[1]&1){             //case 0f_0x xx 01 xx xx xx +                    rdr_log(reader, "classD3 ins54: no cw --> Card appears in error"); +                    test_0F = 0; +                } +                if ((buff_0F[1]>>4)&1){     //case 0f_0x xx 10 xx xx xx +                    rdr_log(reader, "classD3 ins54: no cw --> Card is paired");    //other discovered values can be added in the same way +                    test_0F = 0; +                } +                if ((buff_0F[1]>>6)&1){     //case 0f_0x xx 40 xx xx xx +                    rdr_log(reader, "classD3 ins54: no cw --> Card needs pin");    //check this +                    test_0F = 0; +                } +                if (test_0F)         +                { +                    rdr_log(reader, "classD3 ins54: status 90 00 = ok but cw=00 tag 0F: %02X %02X %02X %02X %02X %02X, please report to the developers with decrypted ins54",buff_0F[0],buff_0F[1],buff_0F[2],buff_0F[3],buff_0F[4],buff_0F[5]); +                }                 +                  return ERROR;

Yes, of course there is no resolution, but it can supply some important info now easily understandable from lots of users not too much accustomed to most complex oscam logs, not to use a hardware blocker. It's a good step, for newbies to be nearer to most essential nds working mode.

What resolution do you need? Is this a pairing issue?
You live at canguro's homeland of Mr Murdock and there, stuff is the hardest
We live in another world place and we don't know.

090b is Foxtel Australia caid, but 09cd is about italian pay tv only.

Could you post here a dreambox's log so to focus on what's wrong?

    i will only add this

as dreamworkd for NDS reading card

no burning = that we can use all italian card inside readers without burning i read somewhere that skyboxes in italian is putting frequency of card very low
they are sending many spam mostly for oscam users

support for cccam all versions = 93b and 09cd is not supported by cccam only oscam

propably SKY DE is supported by V13/14 card didnt checked myself dont know if even this card wont be burned

Really, there was never a great risk of burning cards except for 093b independently of the used emu.
It had to do an hardware modify to dreambox reader to have not the card burned, or use an external reader such as smartmouse or smargo.
I can remember , when 0963 arrived, there was a lot of fear about burning that and many users chose for a smargo or an omnikey.
But eventually there isn't any problem in read nds3 cards (0963, 09cd) into internal slot; but I'd prefer yet an usb reader that for me is better.

Current mess however is going to be a pairing issue more than a reader's working mode

0963 comes out in the earlier of 2009 i remember...
According with this patch, it seems to be ok. Maybe now we can remove a piece of unuseful code from trunk.
    So,
    The point is:

what causes ten seconds freezing using all kind of cache shits ?
even if i use cards+ cache filtering or not one block 10 seconds hourly came out.

In my opinion it cames out from a non working good server : mcs, or csp crap.

Using only cards you avvoid 10 seconds stop. But card & cache time to time ine or two stops are come. Maybe a little improvment from blueven according his code.

well its depend of source yes now many sites contain caches trade
cccam is slower than oscam try use only cccam and not higher than 2.2.1 2.3.0 is very shitty and lot ppl DO NOT REALIZE that this cccam is sending very big ecm times

    i am using 214 with 0963 support

only problem with NDS is Murdoch World put as low time between card and crypter + NDS sending to many spam and SKY decords are not only most expensive but also THE WORST

everything is limited in these decoders just like in DIRECTV.

Just to image that in 1997 Kudelsy Nagra could be Murdoch Empire insted of this New Data System Videoguard.
