    NOTICE OF UPDATED CHANNEL LINE-UP

    NOTICE OF UPDATED CHANNEL LINE-UP Effective from May 15th, 2013 pursuant to the new Regulations on Management of Pay-TV Operations in Vietnam

    Hanoi, May 15th, 2013 – According to the Regulations on Management of pay-TV Operations issued by Decision No. 20/2011/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, in order to be broadcasted in Vietnam, an international TV channel shall be subject to certain legal requirements.

    Specifically, an international channel without Editing License is not permitted to be broadcasted on any Vietnam’s pay-TV operator’s platform. This regulation is officially applied on all Vietnam’s pay-TV platforms as of May 15th, 2013. Thereby, the broadcast of these channels without Editing License in Vietnam, if allowed by any operator, is regulated to be illegal.

    In complying with this regulation, signal of the following 21 foreign channels will be temporarily switched off on K+ platform as of May 15th, 2013 until they are granted Editing Licenses by Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communication.

    Eurosport News

    AXN

    CNBC

    NGC HD

    Star World

    MGM

    CNN

    Discovery World HD

    Diva Universal

    Luxe TV

    Channel News Asia

    Star Movies HD

    Most of these channels are on administrative process for the Editing License and VSTV is working closely with owners/agents of foreign channels on the subject. At the same time, VSTV is also studying the integration of more Vietnamese channels that could bring interesting programs and more entertainment to our subscribers.

    Further official updates of channel line-up are going to be published regularly on the company’s website at www.kplus.vn. Subscriber may also dial 1900-1592 for support from K+ customer care center.

    Channel V HAS BEEN GRANTED EDITING LICENSE TO BE LEGALLY BROADCASTED IN VIETNAM

    NOTICE: Channel V HAS BEEN GRANTED EDITING LICENSE TO BE LEGALLY BROADCASTED IN VIETNAM From May 16th, 2013

    Hanoi, May 17th, 2013 – The foreign music channel Channel V has had officially acquired the Editing License granted by the Ministry of Information and Communication to be legally broadcasted in Vietnam.

    K+ has officially brought back Channel V to customers on K+ platform since 19:00pm May 16th. Thereby, Channel V is legally lined-up at number 95 on both K+ SD and HD set-top-boxes.

    As of today, Cinemax, AXN SD, AXN HD, Fox Sports Plus channels are going to be resumed on K+ platform. Some other foreign channels are expected to be granted Editing License in a couple of days and VSTV/K+ will broadcast them immediately.

    VSTV/K+ keeps you posted with updated channel line-up regularly on the company’s website at www.kplus.vn. Subscriber may also dial 1900-1592 for support from K+ customer care center.

    Previously, a number of foreign channels without Editing License are regulated to be removed from any pay-TV platform in Vietnam from May 15th 2013 in compliant with the Decision No. 20/2011/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.

    The broadcast of these unlicensed foreign channels by any pay-TV operator in Vietnam is illegal.

    in Vietnam there is maybe same rule as in China that they cant use foreign channels via satellite?

    no no i think its only about the License 1 more License so 1 more Dolar in the Bag lol

    discovery bought eurosport on one DTH now this channel is without warrant shame
