Default How to add transponder frequencies in Progdvb

    Hi
I am finding it difficult to add new transponder frequencies in Progdvb. If I scan a frequency, the list of channels is downloaded and I can watch it there but these channels are not added in the list of channels on left pane and every time I have to scan them afresh. Please advise me how to add and delete channels and frequencies permanently in progdvb in simple words.

    Thanks a lot,

    Muhammad Iqbal Bhawana

Progdvb is not doing a good job at Channels lists and their management. The best is to begin from scratch. First clear the channel list. Edit the transponders file manually using notepad, and make a fresh scanning of the satellite. You will have all the available channels. Also, after the sanning is finishined, if you want to scan more transponders, just manually scan them. This transponder will be added to the channels list, but will not update the transponders list permanently.

another bug in ProgDVB (which still exists upto the release of 4.70.2) is that whenever you do a scan, all those channels re-appear again which had deleted. it happens everytime you do a scan to add a new transponder.

I agree, but also the easiest and less problematic for regular use.
