i'm new to so called "satellite field"...
i found that a lot of terms use, i couldn't get it...
im using HUAPU HP7800 DVB + satellite dish...
can anyone tell me how to interprete the following symbols?
Telstar 76.5 E ... what does it mean by 76.5 E? does it mean align the dish horizontally 76.5 degree and face to East?
What is LNB Frequency? I know telstar is using 11300, how about the other? where can i find the clues for this?
Except Telstar 10 a.k.a. Apstar2R ku, what else satellite can i receive? can anyone recommend some to me with free tv?
76.5E is the location of the satellite basing on grid coordinates, not what you will set your dish to point at (use www.igp.net for dish alignment and other calculations). LNB frequency could refer to the rating of your LNB on what frequency range it can operate or the tuner settings for your receiver to obtain a certain channel. visit www.lyngsat.com or satcodx for satellite footprints available in your area.Originally Posted by kevin7
