    Unhappy Receiver Software Upgrade problem

I connected receiver and laptop through USB to serial Adapter

first i tried to take the back up from receiver by pressing send option button in the receiver. Hyper terminal didn't received backup so disconnected receiver by closing hyperteminal and connected to TV. After switching on the power receiver starts booting no display in the TV screen.

I didn't understand where i made the mistake.

Dear freinds please give your feedback
