    Default Help Need With Cryptoworks CAM.


    Hi everyone I have a Philips Cryptoworks CAM that i tried to update via the pcmcia slot of my laptop. Now it does not get recoginzed anymore.

    Is there any way to fix it?

    it was being read by your pcmcia slot before? was the update successful? you can try with cas2/cas3 to revive your cam, otherwise maybethe voltage of most new pcmcia cardbus is 3.3V and the old pcmcia pcic were 5.5. and that might have damaged your cam.

    Yes, Yes , Link please , voltage was fine , the cam still works but the firmaware is messed up.
