AFRICA - Sat viewers- whats viewable? +C/SHARE!!

Lets talk about channels viewable on the african continent, scrambled, fta and watchable by any means, plus what we actually pay for satellitte scrambled channels - lets compare, some might be paying a lot to view. is it for the rich or reasonable? Are they educative, how about the christian channels too many or just enuf. who is reaping and who is not.
what can you receive, and what do you want to receive but you cannot?
how can we help others and ourselves? etc. lets put it here.
what do you know and we dont abt my tv africa, oxygen,multichoice, ctn etc + GTV
what do you pay for your viewing?
what abt card-sharng does it work?

cogil, we have one or some very expensive satellite watching in afrika, should we also have easily available then would join and share especially sports, just unreachable for most of us.

Hi all,
Here are my favourite channels on C Band:
- BadrC 26E: TV5Monde Orient - One TV (lots of movie) - AlDjazeera sports
- AB 3W: CFI - TV da Gente (Brasilian). RFO feeds were also interesting with many documentaries but biss encrypted now.
- Intelsat: SABC - ETV ( thanks for k*y), Kenya NTV

On Ku-Band: Direct 8 (very interesting french channel), TV Malagasy on Eutelsat 7E.

That's enough for my two eyes and my 24h daytime

thanks for all, looks like you are into french and english, that sure has a full 24hr coverage and you dont need any other, so long as they dont scramble sa**.
am sure those not getting what you have and in your region will soon ask you details of how to get this and that, please give a region - south, east, west, central, north. though i will give you south

I am in southern africa interested in this dvb card stuff along with free to air channles. have a fortec star with no autoroll. would greatful for info on were to by this stuff, along with some of the decorders posted at RDI. wiztech is freely avail in zimbabwe . but if u know th prices in south africa i wld be more grateful. thanx

I am in Madagascar. I use a single motorised KTI 12 ft mesh dish for both C and Ku Band.

the 12 ft dish will get ntv, but i have tried on the 6ft and only get citizen kenya, but not ntv, are u getting citizen?
Had gotten ntv before but collapsed my 9ft dish for space to have 2 -6ft on different sats, didnt want to invest on motor and control unit.

african chaneles

ok i have to admit im not live in an african country, i live in israel,

but im loggd to the african chaneles depply,

i have a solid 1.8m dish with a cband lnb on the http://www.lyngsat.com/pas4.html geting the african chaneles,

also got a solid 2.7m dh dish with ku band&c band for the pas7/10 satellite get in c band the Multichoice Africa and in ku get sabc1,2,3 and etv.

also got solid 1.8 m dish for the http://www.lyngsat.com/i906.html geting the west hemi foot print chaneles

last solid 1.8 m dish with a ku&c band is for the nss7 at 22w i get the west africa beam and in c band i get the east hemi beam, get all the african chanels that avillibile on this sat

in all the disheses i use the invacom prime focus lnb , c band lnb i use zinwell

recivers i use the db 7000s also got an Multichoice Africa card, cost me a 1800 us$ , woth every cent

some channels from pas 4 72E.When the world cup going more people watch these channels (ZTV,ZNBC,RTNC,D CONGO TV,RTG.) on c band lnb. Now i dont know?

please explain what it comprises of (decorder inclusive++) since multichoice now provides a 24 channel compact for $25 a month, would the c/sharing not be more expensive with internet also involved, best is explain your offer for all members to understand, am sure you'll get feedbacks because being expensive is what most members here are against, reasonable, affordable-yes
