You would need jtag size firmware to put in,or at least the bootstrap section of firmware if you had a working jtag.

Hello, i have receiver PHILIPS DSR 2011

This is jtag pinout this receiver


When i run Jkeys i have error: "Error reading from IRD (DCU)"



Procesor recognized OK



When i click "Flash Programming" i have message: "The flash codes returned are not recognized by JKeys. Mfg/Device codes returned are FFFFFFFF/FFFFFFFF(JEDEC) and FFFFFFFFF/FFFFFFFFF"

I try use wall.exe but not sucess

Flash is M58LW032C, how unlock this flash?

Sti5517 is a dcu3 processor,you can only dump with jkeys not program.
You would have to make your own jtag program with the st20 toolset.

I download ST20 Toolset R 2.3.1 and dont understand programming.

Maybe write for me program who dump flash M58LW032C in STI5517 procesor?

Jkeys will dump flash on a sti5517 processor receiver,just not erase/write.
Many said receivers have no jtag port,that is why you don't see more full dumps available.
As a matter of fact most st20 toolset based jtag programs will only erase/write-they depend on jkeys for dumping the flash.

Peek errors are usually due to a bad ground between pc and receiver or the jtag wires too long or twisted.
Slugworth Rule of arm: Jtag wires should be shorter than your arm.
In st20 research I have noticed that using nRST instead of TRST works better with jkeys for dumping flash for some reason.You have to tie TRST high thru a 100 ohm resistor I use pin 12 on the lpt1 db25.
I don't feel like doing all the work to make somebody else rich,sorry.

I don't have a receiver with a sti5517/jtag port,so I wouldn't even attempt doing a jtag program.I would just be guessing.

sir can you please help or guide me to convert this IRD model RCA DRD435RH formerly used in DirecTv to become a normal or FTA receiver if possible. if needed to be jtag please guide and assist me and how?.thank you very much .

The conversion was only for the drd430,the 435 uses a different processor sti5516?

The SR was locked in to 20000 so it wasn't really a true fta hack anyway.

D22 TDI I 3.3 CPUs debug port and TAP data input no internal pullup or pull-down resistors
E21 TMS I 3.3 CPUs debug port and TAP mode select
D21 TCK I 3.3 CPUs debug port and TAP clock
D20 NOTTRST I 3.3 CPUs debug port and TAP logic reset
E22 TDO O 3.3 CPUs debug port and TAP data output

Jkeys was originally written for echostar receivers over 8 years ago,that was way before many processors were even thought of.Looks like you have a processor jkeys doesn't handle.
Many receivers have jtag ports,but they may use factory programs for jtagging that aren't available to the public.

Which Jkeys program r u using now. Coz. in ur screen it's still showing "Unknown ST device" .Also U can use wall.exe file when "DCU Peek" error showing. I'll upload one of the jkeys later which i'm using . Just try it and good luck to u.
